We don’t provide parallel tours often and weonly run them with the approval of the first group, on this occasion, a birthday request.

You don’t need wine to do this but it helps 😂

We have an admission to make, we always put every effort in to our tours to give you the best possible experience whilst with us.

I’m afraid we didn’t quite get it right for these guys and kept them waiting a little and then the next cellar door was actually closed for tasting because of a wedding. How rude 😜Yes, I should have checked!

Quickly moving on to our next cellar door, kombi speed, put everyone back on track.

We bought our guests a glass of wine, as way of apology, at an additional cellar door and offered a refund on the tour which they didn’t take.

These guys were awfully decent and wish to reserve another tour with us. I think they could see what it means to us to provide the best service we can.

We continue to learn and adapt and improve whilst having fun at the same time.

Wine tours aren’t just about drinking wine. 🥂

These guys tried a little bit of wine and then whisky and once they’d had enough I took them for a beer in Wodonga. 🥃🍻

Why? Because we can and we will do whatever suits the mood.

Was it planned? Not all of it but that’s just how we roll!

Something you don’t see everyday or taste.

Guests were treated to a taste comparison of recently blended Muscat, straight out the barrel, with the same blended Muscat that’s been previously bottled.

I couldn’t taste, as I have to be zero, but the aromas completely different. One blend was delicate against the other which just popped with fragrance.

Tasting wise, well sometimes I wish, I could hand the kombi keys over. 😂 My chance to taste will come 😂

The King Valley was calling Leonie’s name for this tour.

Even without wine this place is marvellous to visit but it’s made all the better with an excellent tasting experience from Karen at @kingriverestate and Sophie from @darlingestatewines.

While my guests had an excellent lunch at Chrismont I nipped back to Darling Estate as I had eyed one on of their salads 🥗

These guys headed off to the Barossa after Rutherglen to sample a few wines and maybe a distillery or two.

What is a ‘parallel wine tour’

Hash and Fiona know.

Hash booked a last minute stay in Rutherglen, wanted a wine tour and gave us a call. We were booked up on that day!!

So what did we do? We was able to run a second tour in parallel with the first tour. The itinerary takes a little working out but if it works we can do it !!

So if we’re booked, sometimes we can still provide a service.

We shared a cracking little tour with this wonderful family visiting selected cellar doors around Rutherglen. Campbells was just one of them.

These guys loved their wine, whites and reds and fortifieds they loved them all and had their favourites.

Each tour is different and we had two new things happen on this tour… we were ahead of schedule at each stop and the amount of wine these guys purchase… more to follow on this!! I’m still amazed 😁

Jason called us for a wine tour visiting 4 of his choosing. We reserved the places to visit, including a tour at Morris Wines (more about how epic this was shortly)! 2 days later we picked them up and off we wine toured !!

I tip my hat to these guys, traveled from Sydney to Rutherglen on Tuesday, Wine Tour Wednesday, returned home Thursday!

Birthday #2 and a girls weekend away. Another wonderful group of friends and an absolute pleasure to tour with!! 🎉

Two days of touring with this wonderful group of friends from Melbourne! 🥂
