Hey there, I'm currently in the UK, and will be returning to Australia late August, to kick off the wines tours again. I'm a little behind my social posts 'sorry' as its been a busy time, both here, and at home.

I'm still addressing emails, and it looks like September is going to be busy with bookings. Now is the time to reserve wine tours for the remaining months of 2026 but don't forget 2027 as the 'early birds' are securing dates NOW.

Do we pop into Stanton & Killeen?

We certainly do pop in, for guests to taste the Iberian style wines S&K are known for.

We visited with Christina and her Mum where Jess greeted us all with a smile and provided an excellent wine tasting experience. Jess knows her wine and throws in a few laughs along the way too 😊

Stanton and Killeen is steeped in history and the aesthetics of the barrel rooms make you feel every part of this place.

A question we often get asked is “where do we go on a wine tour?”

A wonderful place we visit, on one of the many itineraries we create for Rutherglen, is Andrew Buller Wines.

This is where we decided on for Christina and her mum!

It’s an idyllic location, a dream of a cellar door in the old farmhouse, and on a winters day, cosy and warm, with the open fire place adding the required depth of warmth.

We always receive a warm welcome and good conversation. Andrew, and his son Alex, are the wine makers who produce excellent quality wines from lighter styles to the fortified range all ready for the tasting.

Once upon-a-time these legends frequented the winery walkabout? 30 years later they’re back and chose another memorable way to tour the vineyards!

Jo booked a wine tour with us, a few months ago, and was super excited to go on the tour, visiting a few cellar door locations around Rutherglen before finding out the fella played cricket against Shane Warne many moons ago.

We love stories like this, spending time with guests, touring in the kombi and supporting local cellar doors as we go!

With a new business opening its doors in Rutherglen, we popped into to meet Joe and Alex and see what it’s all about!

Olives, olive oil and wine, and incoming week’s cheese boards, tea and coffee is the aim! Did someone say ‘a nice cup of tea’ 😜

It’s the old Wicked Virgin location, it’s a lovely place to visit, and we were greeted with a smile, by both these guys. 😁

@hopetoun.grove is added to our tour itinerary and hope to visit soon with a wonderful tour group.

Yes we tour during winter. Someone recently asked us.

Girls winter weekend getaway to Beechworth! These ladies know how to plan a weekend visiting the Asylum, The Last Supper Club and The Stanley Pub on top of our wine and distillery tour!

We collected the girls from a fabulous location @french.cottage.beechworth also check out @ned.kellys.marlo.cottage too!!

Then off we scooted to various locations, @pennyweightwinery was the first stop followed by @indigovineyard for another excellent tasting by Anna, and a bite to eat.

Post lunch took us to @eldoradoroad, such a cosy cellar door, then we scooted down to Yackandandah for a Gin at @yackcreekdistillery

Then we tootled back to drop the ladies off before their dinner date!!

Winter doesn’t stop Denis and Annette from exploring Rutherglen and in the perfect ‘Getaway’ car ‘the little kombi’!

We visited a select few cellar doors tasting from lighter styles right through to the fortified wines!!

Why not, when you don’t have to drive on our unique wine tour experience.

It doesn’t seem to matter the Season, All Saints Estate appears to be magical!

Inside the cellar door is where the real magic happens though!

Had a bloomin good time that’s what! 😂

From the moment they opened their door, and Dottie greeted me, a happy little Schnauzer, I knew it would be a good day 🎉

We tootled off, kombi speed, to visit some of Rutherglen’s best cellar doors, and topped off with a bite to eat at Bonnie, for very tasty pizza.

After a fun day, the back of the kombi loaded with wine, faces loaded with smiles, we tootled off back to Albury.

With family connections back to George Sutherland-Smith and Chambers Rosewood of course we had to visit All Saints Estate and Chambers!!

With the Rutherglen Royals onboard, Alex, Pip and Kate, we cruised around the vineyards with these wonderful ladies on a wine tour with us.

Full of fun and laughter, and a little wine 😂, it was a pleasure to meet you all and learn your family history too. I love stuff like that. Ladies, you were awesome to spend time with.

Bridge Road Brewery celebrate 21 years this weekend, Friday to be exact.

We were lucky enough to visit, last week, with our amazing tour group!

In parallel with their award winning beers, and zero alcohol beers are the best pizzas in the region!

My guests shared a veritable banquet of pizza, including my favourite, the fungi, along with a pot or two of the Hazy whilst i enjoyed the zero alcohol beer. I couldn’t tell the difference. It was amazing!

May I suggest visiting this weekend and enjoy the experience just as much as we did ☺️

The boys are back in town - these guys booked a second tour in a week because they loved the first wine tour so much.

This tome we headed the Yackandandah and Beechworth.

Single Malt Whisky - 68% alcohol - floral aromas.

We really need to visit Backwoods more often. It’s a cracking little distillery with excellent tasting experiences.

It’s no secret, TBH, but a place we do suggest visiting when heading out this way to Yackandandah.

Geoff booked a tour for Tuesday and we visited some fabulous places cellar doors. They loved it! I lived it.

Very Important Pooch & Very Important People.

Pup friendly cellar doors and pup friendly tours AND Birthday celebrations too for Jake.

Mara reserved our tour as a little celebration for her husband and wanted Jock the Cavoodle to be part of the day too.

Not a problem though Jock’s tipple was water and Jakes’s tipple was wine and he did very well too!
